BOSTON, MA – 03/19/19 – Beyond Borders Investment Strategies, LLC (BBIS) announced today that Vitaly Veksler, the firm’s CEO and Portfolio Manager, presented at Emerging Markets: Investment Theories and Practice class at Harvard University on March 17. It was Vitaly’s fourth annual visit to the class. He talked about BBIS’ country selection and rotation strategy used for investing in equity markets of emerging, frontier markets, as well as developed countries. Among other topics, Vitaly shared with students the firm’s overview, reasons for the firm’s existence, differentiating features of its investment process, and its competitive advantages. This year, Vitaly also talked about the impact goals of the firm for the first time. These goals, Helping Countries Recover from Crises, and Strengthening Stability and Security around the World, were discussed in detail in the recent white paper titled We Will Not Leave You Behind: Economic, Social and Political Impact of Investing via Single-Country Equity ETFs in Countries During and After Major Crises.
